Twins sweep up Orioles

FORT MYERS -- The Twins swept the Orioles 3-2 and 8-0 Thursday in Gulf Coast League action at the Lee County Sports Complex.
In the opener Twins shortstop Jeanfred Brito went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI to help the Twins edge the Orioles. Daniel Berlind kept his record perfect (5-0), going 5 1/3 innings and allowing four hits and two unearned runs with six strikeouts.
The Twins' pitching prevailed in the second game as Liam Hendricks pitched five innings of one-hit, shutout baseball, fanning nine for the clean sweep. Tom Stuifbergen and Jarrad Eacott each tossed a scoreless inning to preserve the two-hit shutout.
Ben Revere sparked the Twins offense with a 2-for-2 effort that included a triple and two RBI.
