Reds roll past Pirates 8-4

BRADENTON -- The Reds banged out 12 hits Saturday in an 8-4 win over the Pirates at Pirate City.

Neftali Soto, David Scott, Tony Brown, José Gualdron and Jordan Wideman had two hits each for the Reds. Brown hit a two-run homer.

The Pirates got a two-run double by Caleb Fields and a two-run home run by John Fitzpatrick.

At Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota, Ramon Santana's ninth-inning sacrifice fly lifted the Twins to a 3-2 win over the Orioles. Charles Nolte threw four innings of scoreless relief for the win.
