Orioles pound Reds, 11-5

SARASOTA -- The Orioles bunched all of their runs in their final four at-bats in an 11-5 win over the Reds on Friday at Twin Lakes Park.
Levi Carolus began the onslaught with a two-run home run in the fifth inning that tied the game. The Orioles pieced together a three-run sixth to take the lead for good.
The Orioles scored six in the eighth, keyed by Nolan Reimold's three-run double. Josh Tarnow went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs.
Justin Reed and Jose Gualdron each had three hits for the Reds. Carlos Mendez hit a home run.
At Fort Myers, Ben Revere had three hits to lead the Twins past the Red Sox 5-1 at the Lee County Complex.
Revere, Minnesota's first-round selection in the First Year Draft on June 7, also scored two runs. Juan Richardson keyed a four-run first with a two-run double. Andy Schmiesing drove in two runs for the Twins (22-8), who kept their two-game edge on the Orioles (20-10) in the Southern Division. They meet today at 10 a.m. at Twin Lakes Park.
