FORT MYERS -- Engel Beltre's two-run home run was the final blow in a back-and-forth game Thursday, giving the Red Sox a 7-6 win over the Pirates at the Red Sox Complex.

Beltre's blast came with no outs in the eighth inning. Ricardo Burgos went 2-for-4 with a double and home run, driving in the first three Red Sox runs.

Quincy Latimore of the Pirates went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI.

At the Lee County Complex, the Reds used a three-run eighth to post a 6-2 win over the Twins, finishing off a game suspended from Saturday.

In the second game, Ángel Morales' two-run double in the sixth sealed the Twins' 4-1 win in the second game.

For the Reds, Justin Reed went 3-for-5 in the opener and Tony Brown homered in the second game.
