FORT MYERS -- The Red Sox pounded out 17 hits and smacked the Pirates 15-0 Monday at the Red Sox complex.

Right-hander Tony Bajoszeky and relievers Armando Zerpa and Dan Buller combined for a seven-hit shutout.

Bajoszeky worked five innings, allowing three hits, no walks and struck out five.

Che-hsuan Lin drove in four runs, going 4-for-6 with a triple and a double. Rafael Gil and Luis Sumoza homered.

For the Pirates, Alex Vargas had a double and single.

Also in Fort Myers, Yangervis Solarte had a home run, two singles and drove in four runs as the Twins hammered the Reds 11-5 at the Lee County Complex.

Neftali Soto homered for the Reds.

In Port St. Lucie, the New York Mets' Moises Alou homered in his first rehab game, a 3-2 loss to the Nationals.

Alou, 41, has been out since tearing a quadriceps muscle in his left leg on May 12. He went 2-for-3 Monday, with a solo homer and a walk.

Alou hopes to return to the majors in two weeks.
