SARASOTA -- Minnesota major league rehabber Rondell White collected three hits, but the Orioles still came away with a 9-7 victory over the Twins on Sunday at Twin Lakes Park.

Elvin Polanco, Joshua Tarnow and Joe DiGeronimo all had three hits for the Orioles. One of Tarnow's was a double.

White, used as a designated hitter and batting fourth in the lineup, went 3-for-5 with a double and RBI.

Twins leadoff hitter Jeanfred Brito (3-for-5) had a single, double and triple.

In Bradenton, the Pirates picked up a 6-2 victory over the Reds at Pirate City.

Major leaguer Salomon Torres, on a rehab assignment, pitched two shutout innings for the Pirates. He allowed one hit, walked no one and struck out three.

Quincy Latimore had a double, two singles and one RBI for the winners. Caleb Fields went 3-for-4.

Devin Mesoraco, Cincinnati's No. 1 draft pick last month, went 2-for-3.
